This hackathon is a unique experience primarily for high school and college students to explore the field of autonomous vehicles. The event includes various conference and workshop sessions that cover the engineering, ethics, and policymaking of autonomous vehicles. Remember to register for the overall event at avexpo.org.
Requirements
Hackathon projects can be anything that relates to autonomous vehicle applications (e.g. object detection applications). If you have any questions on whether your project idea is permitted, please email hackathon@avexpo.org.
Note: Due to time constraints, if a working project is not completed, teams are permitted to submit what they have finished so far, or you can choose to create a pitch for your project idea.
For a full project, you must submit a repository link for your code. If your end result is a web app or native app, make sure to submit the appropriate links as well. You are welcome to film a demo video if you would like.
For a pitch, you must submit a video pitch and feel free to submit any slides, designs, and/or mockups. Pitches should be roughly 5 minutes long.
